Christine Kennett

Christine Kennett: B.A., M.ED., Cert. Ed., Dip. SPTI / GPTI, Dip. Supervision, Teaching and Supervising Member GPTI, UKCP Registered Psychotherapist.

Christine Kennett Christine is a psychotherapist and supervisor in private practice. She has over twenty years experience of teaching and training having worked originally in the fields of Equal Opportunities and Human Relations Training. She has taught Counselling and Psychotherapy to Diploma/Masters degree level at the Universities of York St. John and Hull. She has trained in Integrative Psychotherapy as well as Gestalt and currently contributes to a number of CPD programmes. She has a particular interest in the existential and spiritual dimensions of psychotherapy and human experience spanning a range of philosophies and traditions. In keeping with her view of Gestalt as a holistic approach and lived experience, Aikido, walking, poetry, literature, and, more recently, dance figure centrally in her self-development.



Graham Colbourne

Graham Colbourne: B.Sc., Dip. GPTI, Dip. Supervision / Associate Teaching and Supervising Member GPTI, UKCP Registered Psychotherapist.

Graham Colbourne Graham has been in full time Gestalt practice since 1996 doing therapy with individuals, couples and groups. He is a supervisor and trainer of counsellors, psychotherapists and supervisors and has also worked in the field of management development. He has served on the GP&TI Ethics Committee for some years and contributes as a member of the Training Standards Committee. As a qualified Youth and Community Worker, he worked for many years in Community Development, Youth Work and Community Education, drawing on groupwork, counselling, field theory, existentialism, and various models of learning and social / community change. Creativity and spirituality are important to him, practised through music and dance. He is a keen cyclist and father to a grown up son.
